ABOUT ME
Maria Kalatozishvili is a Character Designer and Illustrator based in Barcelona.
After graduating from the Irish School of Animation (BCFE), she worked as an Artist, Character Designer, Art Director and Illustrator on a variety of different projects.
In 2020 she wrote and directed an animated short film “One, Two, Three - Let’s Go!”, that was nominated for Best Short Film at the London festival "Fragments".
In 2023 apart from animation projects, she co-wrote and designed a YA comic book series “Notes of the House Elf”, published by EXMO Publishing House in 2024.
In all of her projects Maria strives to develop the most unique visual look, that will allow to convey the story to the audiences on a deeper level. Her passion is creating fun and memorable characters that the viewer can relate to.
